Welcome to the Project Management Institute (PMI) Cameroon Chapter. We are more than just a professional association; we are a dynamic community, learning center and development engine, dedicated to the advancement of project management and its professionals in Cameroon.

As a local chapter of the prestigious global Project Management Institute (PMI), our mission is to extend the reach and influence of project management in a unique national context. We firmly believe that well-managed projects are the pillar of sustainable growth, innovation and a prosperous future for our country.

Our pillars

Governance and transformation

Strengthen our governance to enhance our visibility and attractiveness to high-potential institutions. This includes :

• Improving reference manuals and management processes.
• More efficient mobilization of our human and financial resources.
• A constant review of services to be offered to members and other stakeholders in project management in Cameroon.

Promote PMI products (PPP)

Promote the breadth of services offered by PMI to echo the Chapter’s and the function’s national expansion efforts. PMI’s services are constantly expanding and must continue to meet the development needs of our members and customers. To achieve this, we plan to :

• Recruiting more members to the volunteer program.
• Continuing to communicate the importance of PMI products in industries and careers.
• Ensure PMI’s presence at local events promoting project management.

Social impact

Maintain our commitment to the National Development Strategy 2030 (NDS30) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By leveraging the potential of PMI Cameroon, we will work to serve and develop communities, strengthening our influence within the public sector.
